There really isn't much of a story here. I was asked to model by a photographer friend of mine in 2001. I loved it and have been pursuing it ever since. I have branched out now and started performing burlesque, fetish skits, and singing.

Modeling can be a tough business. You have to be very dedicated to it. You can't sit back and wait for something to happen. It Won't. It can be very frustrating on many levels. Basically, you have to really love it to put up with some of the crap sometimes. With that said, if you think you can deal with it, it can be very rewarding and fun. You can find great resources for getting started on One Model Place, and starting a Yahoo Group was very helpful for me. Always get references for everyone you plan on working with, and never go alone to a shoot with someone you don't know. Don't do anything you feel uncomfortable with. You should discuss your limits before hand. Make sure you always sign a model release, and read it very carefully. You should also ask for a copy for yourself. There is a lot more i could list, but that should be able to get you started!

I use semi-permanent dyes like Manic Panic, Fudge, Raw, and Special Effects, etc. It takes about 2-3 bottles to color my whole head, so i usually mix different shades of red by different brands. The formula is a little different everytime. It took me about a year to find the color combination that i use today. You will have to find the right shade for you. Mine's a secret! ;)
